I have a disability, what should I do?

Modified on Thu, 31 Oct, 2024 at 7:30 AM

Taking part in an online assessment can present additional challenges for people with disabilities. If you have visual, movement or other disabilities, it is important that arrangements are made to ensure a fair and accurate assessment for all candidates.

In many cases, barriers can be overcome with the use of technical aids or appropriate settings. For example, visually impaired people can use a screen magnifier or additional tools that magnify the areas over which the cursor is positioned. If you have concerns about your ability to take part in an online assessment, it is best to contact the company you have applied to directly or, alternatively, the platform's support team.

Under EU law and similar legal frameworks in different countries and regions, people with disabilities have the right to reasonable accommodation and protection during the application process. The employer is obliged to provide facilities that ensure equal opportunities.
